Youth4Values – Local workshop in Bugojno

As part of the Youth4Values project, a local workshop was held in Bugojno to support young people and promote important values like solidarity, respect for differences and active participation in the community. The workshop gathered young people who took part in fun and interactive activities, group work and discussions. They learned how values are important in daily life and in helping others.

The workshop was led by Danis Sijamija, who shared stories and experiences from participants who took part in the Youth4Values project in Athens. Through these examples, he inspired young people in his local community to become more active and involved in creating positive change.

During the workshop, participants talked about the problems young people face in their towns, and how volunteering, creative ideas and helping each other can bring positive changes. They also worked on ideas that support tolerance, inclusion and teamwork among young people. As part of the activities, participants took part in a role-play simulation where they worked in small groups to solve real-life challenges faced by young people.

Through this experience, they practiced decision-making, communication and leadership skills, while also learning how values like solidarity and respect are key in finding solutions and working together.

This workshop showed once again that Bugojno has young people who are ready to take action, learn new things and make their town a better place. Youth4Values gives them the chance and support to do that.
