Empowering Youth Through Values: Youth4Values Local Event Held in Vitez

On May 10th, BRAVO organized a local event in the Grand Meeting Hall of Vitez Municipality to promote the Youth4Values project and foster dialogue around youth engagement and European values. The event gathered more than 30 participants and featured active collaboration with local NGOs, including BZK “Preporod” Vitez and the Center for Youth Education Travnik.

Spotlight on Youth and European Opportunities

The afternoon began with a warm welcome from Harun Varupa, who moderated the session and introduced the event’s purpose and key participants of the event. The first presentation was delivered by Nedžma Salkić, who provided an engaging overview of BRAVO and the Erasmus+ programme. Her interactive approach encouraged attendees to explore new pathways for youth participation in European projects.

Promoting the Youth4Values Mission

Following this, the Youth4Values project was introduced, highlighting its goals, core values, and the significance of its activities, such as the past training course in Athens and the upcoming training course in Sarajevo.

This segment offered insight into how the project empowers young people to engage with democracy, social inclusion, and intercultural dialogue.

Local Voices Amplify the Message

The event featured meaningful contributions from local partners. Ema Bešić, representing BZK “Preporod” Vitez, and Amela Mrakić from the Center for Youth Education Travnik, shared their organizations’ missions and reflected on how Youth4Values aligns with their efforts in youth development and civic engagement.

Interactive Dialogue and Networking

The event concluded with an open Q&A session, certificate distribution, and group photos. Participants also had the chance to network informally over refreshments, strengthening connections and setting the stage for future collaboration.
